The production of the V8 Vantage Volante was limited to just three years, 1987-1989 with only 166 of which only 58 were 'Cosmetic' V8 Vantage Volantes built specifically for the United States, Swiss and Japanese markets. These V8 Vantage Volante as with the European carbureted counterparts had a deeper front air dam, side skirt, built in rear spoiler as well as 16"" Ronal road wheels.
Originally built and delivered to Aston Martin franchise dealer, Palm Beach Motorcars. This V8 Vantage Volante is one the last Vantage Volante produced by Aston Martin Lagonda Limited and certainly one of the very last having been imported to the USA market.
This V8 Vantage Volante was kept in its first ownership through 2010 when it was sold to its next ownership and exported to the Netherlands. At this time, it was refurbished at great expense to its current European engine and body specification with chrome bumpers and bodywork.
Having enjoyed European collector ownership to date and in absolutely superb condition throughout, this V8 Vantage Volante has been serviced when and where needed throughout the years. It has only recently been taken on parts exchange-trade from the collector-collection by Autosport Designs, Inc. towards another Aston from our inventory.,
Now owned by Autosport Designs, Inc., this V8 Vantage Volante is currently in the UK and where it can be offered with European registration and EU taxes paid. Due to this fact, we have decided to offer it to the market for sale and from its UK location. Should a United States enthusiast-collector have interest in its purchase, the Aston is easily transported and imported to the United States, approximate time frame 30-40 days from UK export to entry in the United States.
